State your character name, class and server if you are transferring.

Gallea : SV Hunter ilvl 515

Do you have any level 80+ alts? If so, please list their classes and spec.

Eorpriest (90) : Shadow Priest ilvl 505
Artreion (90) : Frost DK (not raid ready)

If you are over 18, how old are you?
23

Tell us a little about yourself.
Transitioning between the military and graduate school so I am taking this summer off for myself. Once school starts I will never not work another day in my life, so this summer is all about music and WoW.

We raid Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 7:00pm to 10:30 pm Server Time (CST). Can you make this time?
Absolutely.

Provide a link to your armory profile. Please log out in your raiding gear!

Tell us about your gear. Such as what are the weaknesses and strengths? What is the most important upgrade you are looking for next?
My biggest weakness right now is the lack of either T15 gloves/chest. I have T15 LFR shoulders in my bank, and as soon as I get gloves or chest I will be switching to have the 4 piece tier bonus. Aside from that I need to upgrade my 489 ring, preferably with the one that drops from animus. I would also really enjoy the TF Bad Juju, but there is always someone else on my current raid team with more DKP.

Summarize your raiding experience.
In Cata I raided DS often on my shadow priest. Since MoP I have made my hunter my main, and am currently 5/12 on ToT normal. I know the fights well, always do my 'homework' and research fights prior to attempting them.

What do you believe is your class role in an endgame raid.

DPS and CC if needed.

What is your favorite boss fight and why?

I like the council fight because there is a lot of movement and you have to stay on your toes to keep away from the sand and the rolling boss. Everyone has to play their part to get past that boss and it's neat to see the team work. when it works.

How have you handled consumables for raiding in the past? Did you consider them important?

I always keep flasks on hand, and preserve pots for emergencies, as well as cookies. I think they are important, they can mean the difference between life or death while running to an AoE heal or while a healer is casting.

Tell us about your guild history. Where have you been, where are you now, and why did you leave?

I was with House Of The Golden Lotus when beginning MoP raiding. When I realized raiding was what I wanted to do I decided to leave for a guild with stronger progression. That was when I joined Whackdonalds. Good guild, and good group of people, but recently a mass g quit occurred which severely halted raiding so I am looking to join a guild with active raiding and progression.

Do you have ventrillo? Do you have a microphone?
Of course, and I certainly do.

Did you read our guild charter? It's terribly out of date and no longer applies, but it was what we used to be.
I skimmed it. You almost lost me at the weekly dues part, but if the guild is promising and has quality players then it is worth it.

What else should we know about you?
I won't be the best hunter you have, at least not at first, but I know I will apply myself to try and become the best. Whenever I see a hunter who is doing better than I am I quickly pick their brain about how to make myself better. Also, I write music so if you make raid videos I can make custom music.

So I am going to put your feet to the fire so to speak =p

We have solid hunters with competitive dps.

On meg you pulled 79,442 dps.
http://raidbots.com/epeenbot/us/aggramar/gallea/

Our hunters pulled
Stormshadow 127.9k
Crimwolf 121.6k

We know Whack had a more laid back raiding atmosphere and while that is not a bad thing, that isn't us. We're looking to hit heroic soon after lei shen goes down.

We need raiders willing to look at their performance objectively and improve.

So my question is how can you improve?

I actually appreciate you putting me on blast like that.

That was actually the 2nd night I have ever raided ToT normal, and was a little lost for normal to be honest. Yeah, my DPS was very bad but I have already improved just from discussing DPS and hunter strategies with some of the more advanced hunters in Whack. I am hoping, if accepted to Expiation, that when out DPS'ed by your hunters that they will guide me with the proper rotations and how to better play my class. Like I said in my original post, I will not be your best hunter, but I PROMISE I will try to become the best hunter you have. I will not rest (seriously I sleep about 4 hours a day) until I hit top DPS in your guild (which may never happen, but I won't give up).

Your drive is something we definately want =D

We do encourage our raiders to share tips/tricks and other information about their class and mechanics but it isn't our raider's responsibility to hold other's hands.

We do want raiders who on their own accord are going to read guides and go to outside resources to improve.

I don't have further questions unless anyone else has something to say I am going to refer this final decision to crystal the ranged officer.

I will say I enjoyed reading an app that actually had some thought put into it.

Hey Gallea!

That was a very well thought out app, but unfortunately right now we're full on hunters, all of which put out pretty high numbers. Good luck in your search for a guild!
